Wow, it has been a really long time since I've last posted on this blog. A LOT has happened since December! First of all Theo grew about a foot over the winter! This is amazing to me as I personally never had such growth spurts! He definitely does not get his height from my side of the family! :)
Theo's language skills have also grown immensely. At times he tells me how he explained this word or that to some of his older friends. It's pretty funny to hear his stories about his day, what he did...he speaks quite differently than most kids I have talked to. I hope this doesn't hurt him in the end as some children don't react well to those that are different. But so far so good! He's learning huge amounts and he is having fun!
I actually went to his first ever open house where all the junior kindergarten kids got to show off all the work they had done so far! It was so much fun! Theo showed off his crafts, how much French he had learned so far, his reading and counting skills and also acted out a restaurant scene with me in the dramatic arts corner! It was great! What was also great was what happened on the way to his school! We were driving along when all of a sudden this exchange took place...
T: Mommy!
M: Yes Theo.
T: You know something?
M: What Theo?
T: Mommy my brain rocks!!!
M: It certainly does Theo! :)
I thought this was just great!!!!! LOLOL!
Another thing happened with Cheryl that she texted me recently! Cheryl had texted me that they were talking about the stages of life from birth to parenthood to grandparents. From what she told me Theo turned around to look at her and told her that he didn't think he was ready for that! LOL
Believe it or not, Theo also came home yesterday with the very first ever book he had written and illustrated! I'm so proud of him! :) Here are the pics of his book!
