Yesterday Theo and Jamie went skating - without me unfortunately. I was and am still sick with this bloody flu! I should be able to go back to work tomorrow though. I'm having trouble breathing today - so I thought I would be sensible for a change and stay home and recuperate. Which is unlike me as I always try to go back to work as soon as is possible - because I have so much to do. Which is silly. I learned that the hard way when I had pneumonia in December. If I go back too soon I will either be sick longer or it will get worse - and pneumonia is something you DON'T want to have to deal with!
Anyway, today's posting is about new Theoisms as I have decided to call them. So Theo got to skate on the canal for the first time in his life and share a beavertail with Jamie. Before they went I made sure to tell Theo all about beavertails and how wonderful and exciting it was going to be to skate on the canal. And it was! They had a wonderful time and Theo came home talking about how he shared a 'fairy tale' with Daddy on the canal!!!! I thought that was too cute! Later the name changed (when he told me about it again and when he later told Grandma all about it on the phone) to 'beartail' and then finally to 'beavertail'. I thought that was too great! Too bad he didn't call them 'fairy tales ' for longer!
That's it for today. I'm going to do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day. Back to work tomorrow.
