"Mummy, does meat come from people?"

Theo has lately been trying to figure out what his food is made of. Yesterday he asked me this.

T: "Mummy, does meat come from people?"
S: No, it comes from animals like cows, sheep or goats.
T: Hmmm...

This has been happening over the past two or three days. So at dinner last night he asked about pizza (which we broke down for him a bit in terms of the meat on the pizza, the cheese, etc.) and this morning he asked me if bread comes from animals...things are getting very very interesting and the questions are by far more complex these days! :)
