I'm in the mood for some interesting music and thought I would share. Here is an excerpt of a 2001 concert by Apocalyptica. The song's title is 'Hall of the Mountain King'. It's one of my favourites! Enjoy!
About Me
- Soha
- I am a mother, a wife, an environmentalist and these days an online activist. I have a strong belief in social justice and human rights. Outside of that I live, laugh, read, think... This is a blog I am writing for my son Theo, about how life was while he was little and what happened over time - what he learned - the funny things that happened in his life and to post pictures. I want to do this so that he can go back and read these letters and posts if he wants to when he's older. But it's a bit of a diary for me too.

- I know I'm an acquired taste: I'm anchovies. And not everyone wants those hairy little things. If I was potato chips, I could go more places. ~ Tori Amos

- People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost. ~ H. Jackson Browne

- Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it. ~ Buddha
